12 Days Tour to Morocco From Fes to Marrakech

Day 1: Fes

After picking you up at the airport, we will visit the Medina of Fez, from there we will go to your hotel.

Day 2: Guided tour of Fes

After breakfast, your local guide will pick you up to start the Fes tour, visit the royal palace post and the old Fes medina and enjoy its brilliant architecture, fabulous medina and historical monuments. including the old Koranic school, the shoe market… Fez is, in fact, the cultural capital of Morocco. Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

After your breakfast we will leave for Merzouga, we will cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane, the “Switzerland” of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou where we will stop to see the monkeys in the wild. then we will continue to Midelt where we will have lunch. We will then follow the Ziz Valley and stop to see the Ziz Gorges before continuing to Erfoud, famous for its fossils and the Date Festival. At the end of the day, we arrive in Merzouga for dinner and overnight in a local hotel near the dunes.

Day 4: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga

Today we will explore the desert region and the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will make a circuit of sand dunes, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the nomadic way of life. We will visit the village of Khamlia to see the Gnawa music show. We will have the opportunity to taste a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. Then we will return in the afternoon to ride a camel and watch the sunset over the dunes. We will spend the night in the Sahara bivouac. dinner will be served around a campfire.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

We will leave behind the dunes and we will go to Erfoud to reach Todra where we will visit the gorges, as well as the palm grove where we will rest and eat. Then we will take a walk through the city and the valley of Boulmane Dades to reach the Dades gorges. There, the river has eroded the rocks to create a beautiful landscape. Day 6: Dades – Boutaghrart – Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we follow the road that leads to the valley of roses and the beautiful Berber village of Boutghrart, where we will have tea with a local family. We will continue along the path of the thousand kasbahs. Along this route we will stop to observe some kasbahs, landscapes, valleys, nomads living in caves… We will arrive at Skoura and then we will go to the village of Ait Ben Haddou. Dinner and accommodation at the local hotel.

Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech

After visiting the kasbah of Ait ben haddou, we continue to Telouat through the Ounila valley, then to the Kasbah of Telouet. We cross the High Atlas mountain through the Tizi n tichka pass 2260m. We will make a stop to visit an argan oil cooperative and then continue to join your Riad in Marrakech.

Day 8: Marrakesh

After your breakfast, you will meet your local guide for a tour of the red city. Explore Marrakech and its main historical monuments, including the old medina, tombs and mosques, kasbahs or the famous Jemaa El Fna square. Dinner and accommodation in your Riad.

Day 9: Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech

After your lunch, we will travel to Esssaouira, approximately 2h30min. you will discover the city of Mogador and visit the medina with its narrow streets full of shops of wood artisans and jewelry, you will explore it with a local guide. at the end of the visit, you will enter a beautiful riad. where dinner will be served. spend the night in the riad.

Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca

In the morning after breakfast, we will leave Marrakech for Casablanca. We will visit the Hassan II Mosque, the Medina and the new neighborhoods of the city and we will visit the traditional Hubbous market if you want to buy some gifts before spending the night in a hotel.

Day 11: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes

After breakfast, we will leave for Rabat to visit the Hassan Tower. Then we head to the city of Meknes, which reached its golden age thanks to Sultan Mulay Ismail. There is a Roman city, known as Volubilis, 27 km from Meknes. We will take a walk through the Roman city. After this visit, we will arrive in Meknes: we will visit Moulay Ismail’s tomb, El Hedime place and Bab Mansour. We will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 12: Meknes – Fes

We will return to Fez to your accommodation or to the airport to take your flight.
